Glynn Payne, kennel Fearnought, UK

I first started in Bulldogs in 1984. I joined the Junior Bulldog Club Committee in 1986 and became Show Manager. In 1998 I became President of The Junior. After moving to Spain in 2010 I relinquished my position as President. In 2019 I became Patron of The Junior after the passing of Cynthia Jay. I represented the Junior on The Bulldog Breed Council where I also Chaired the Judges Sub Committee.

I have also served on the Committee of The South of England Bulldog Society. I am currently Chairman of the British Bulldog Club.

I am Patron of The Northern Dogue De Bordeaux Club. I am Show Manager of Southern Counties Championship Show. I have served as Chairman of The Mastiff Association and Secretary of The Old English Mastiff Club. I am Vice Chairman of the Canine Supporters Charity Which holds the Contest of Champions. I have Bred English and Overseas Champions in Bulldogs and Mastiffs and have owned a Finnish Spitz Champion.

I have awarded Challenge Certificates in Bulldogs 9 times. I first awarded CC’s in 2003 at Manchester and have awarded them at Richmond, British Utility Breeds, The Bulldog Club Inc, Junior Bulldog Club Centenary Show, The British Bulldog Club, London Bulldog Society, The South of England Bulldog Society. West of England Ladies Kennel Association and Windsor Dog Show.

I have judged Bulldogs extensively all over the World in 28 Countries. And have judged over 2500 Bulldogs.

I am also passed to award CC’s in Bernese Mountain Dogs, Boxers, Bullmastiffs, Dobermanns, Dogue De Bordeaux, Great Danes, Leonbergers, Mastiffs, Neapolitan Mastiffs, Rottweilers, Saint Bernard’s and I am passed for the Working Group.

I have judged at World and European Dog Shows and have judged at The American Kennel Club National Championship Show. I judged Neapolitan Mastiffs at Crufts in 2025 and am judging Bulldogs and Mastiffs at Crufts in 2028 and Bullmastiffs in 2029.

And I am honoured to judge this prestigious show.
